"We were always saying goodbye" was what I believe led me to discover my inspiration for landscape and wild flowers. I started this painting with no preconceived notion of what it should be, and what it ended being, was more than I had imagined. Some people say it looks like you are driving up a beautiful mountain side in the first days of spring while there is still snow on the ground, but for me it was exploration into color and learning to trust myself as an artist.
